$125.00

Archival print (37.88" x 22.43").

This poster was created by the artist Samuel Ward Stanton and was sponsored by Hudson River Day Line. According to the Smithsonian Institute National Air and Space Museum, this poster advertised air travel between New York and Albany. It provides a detailed illustration of a river scene with several passenger boats, a dock, and a grassy shoreline with a biplane flying in the mid-ground. Ships' names, visible on the side of each boat, are the "Robert Fulton," the "Hendrik Hudson," the "Albany," and the "Mary Powell."

All proceeds benefit the library’s History Room.
